- boosTTExplorerI put them in my 2011 ram 1500. I'm not sure how much of a difference they make...
- fly-swatterExplorerResearch putting some Timbrens on. They will take out all the sag with much less cost and no maintenance. I have had them on my last 2 trucks and will put them on my next one if needed.
- john_betExplorer IIWhen we had '99 1500 Dodge pulling a 27' TT I could set the trailer and truck level at any point I wanted to with the wdh. I run both level without any sag.

You did not state so, but do you have a properly set up wdh?
I used the Firestone bags on my '03 Tundra with good results. Without them the truck sags about 4" when I drop my 24' TT on it. With 75psi in the bags it sits about 1" lower. I'm very happy.
One word of caution:
Put the trailer on the hitch, air up the bags to the required PSI. If you air up the bags first, then put the trailer weight on it, you could blow a bag.
Now, with all that said, my Tundra has leaf springs, so the set up is not exactly like yours. But I'm happy with the product. - EConesExplorerI used the Firestone bags on my '03 Tundra with good results. Without them the truck sags about 4" when I drop my 24' TT on it. My opinion is that if the WDH is properly adjusted, the rear end will settle right at level, about 1-2" lower than unhitched. Rear suspension aides tend to mask overloaded situations and can complicate WDH adjustment. I recommend starting at a scale to understand where you stand with respect to all your truck's ratings and how well that WDH is adjusted. 3 passes, truck alone, truck with TT without WD, truck with trailer with WD.
