The Lance is a well built popular trailer, but they are proud of them. Can't speak to the Apex, but I wonder if you could "split the difference".
Have you considered the Winnebago Micro Minnie 2016FBS? I like them because they were "birthed" from the old Sunnybrook RVs. In their day, top of the line, and innovative. Winnebago bought them out to launch their travel trailer line. Several features and quality items that are often not available in other brands.
