Fleetwood Mallard early 2000's (pics added)

anyone care to wager a guess what its worth (listed as a 2000-2001). Southern Ontario if that makes a difference start of camping season.

I know what they are asking and what I think its worth. curious where everyone else falls in.

Looks very clean and we'll cared for.

seems to be nice and clean, owner says no issue no known water damage. not sure whats up on the kitchen counter if that's trim missing or something on the counter but I think I like it. anyone know the model? trying to find specific and weights before I go much further. would like the get the owner to come down another 1000 bucks but its not too far out.

I have a 1995 Mallard but have only had it a little over a year. I have not been able to find any evidence of water leaks at all. I have replaced the converter/charger, two new complete axles an tires and resealed the roof. Other than that no known problems. It works great for us and pulls great. I did convert the dinette to a couch using simple steps and can reverse it if need be.

Where I keep my TH in storage the guy next to me had a Fleetwood trailer. He kept it in covered storage and was in excellent condition. He traded it for a new Jayco 5th wheel. He told me the Fleetwood was built better then his new Jayco. He fixed a lot of things on a brand new Jayco trailer.

for sure and with the limited budget I have most have water intrusion. working on finding one that doesn't. just like asking here since there are a lot of people with more experience than me. maybe a known issue with a particular model or something will come up.

As with any camper of the era maintenance is the key to longevity. Water intrusion is usually the nail in the coffin. Some keep their RV'S well maintained others don't even know about maintenance or don't care.

If a unit is well maintained it doesn't really matter what brand you choose as long as the floor plan works for you.

The first thing I would check would be the roof, is the caulking old and dried out with cracks? what condition is the rubber roof? Then move to the inside and look for signs of water intrusion.
