Floor Rot

I have a 2011 Amerilite 24RK. Last summer, I noticed under the linoleum at the entry door mold(mushroom type) was developing. Then, I took it to the dealer, but the warranty had just run out. They cut the linoleum out, cleaned up the mold, and replaced the linoleum with a black runner type flooring. Right after they did this, the mold developed again. I was told they had not used anything such as bleach to really clean it. I did and thought I had the problem solved. Now, I just noticed that the floor is rotted in a spot about 3" x 10" right next to the entry door. I never feel of see water of any kind coming in. The caulking seems to be fine around the door. What could be causing this? Also, what is the simplest way to replace a small piece of wood like this? Thanks.
  • On my last trailer, I had entry rot from the two seams in lower corners of the door frame.
  • I just replaced a piece of rotted subfloor in front of the door. I had to cut and roll back the flooring. Then used a circular saw to cut the floor back to a floor joist. Then added wooden blocking to the side of the floor joist. Pulled out the wet insulation and replaced it. Cut new sub floor and layed it in. Rolled the flooring back, and put down quarter round shoe molding to hold the floor in place and cover the slits in the flooring. Looks like the water was coming in around the door latch, then traveling down in through the lock mortise area down inside the wall. Not an insurmountable problem, but it did take a few days/evenings of work to get it solid again. Whenever I walk across it I can feel the seam in the subfloor, but nobody else can feel it. I think I felt it because I knew it was there. Need to replace a few pieces of weatherstripping around the door to stop the water intrusion.
  • It could be from anywhere. In my previous HTT, I had soft floor in the doorway. The linoleum ripped up even. The insurance adjuster found where the water was coming from. The caulking on the seam caddy corner to the door. So it traveled all the way down a wall and across the trailer to the door area.
