For those who are not aware, Propane tank expiration.

I didn't read all 4 pages of this thread. I often, but, not always, refill my own tanks from the large tank we have at the farm for the hog barn. Otherwise I use the exchange places. I do feel that I'm getting ripped off but they are so convenient. There are very few refill places in my area and they have weird hours.

I am still refilling some of the Old Style tanks at home. The exchange places have never asked me if the tank is up to date....As long as it is the new style.
