Strange how many threads are started by folks with a lack of understanding what torque and horsepower are. Also strange that these threads seem to exist to reinforce bias and misunderstanding.
The worst part is, once it is explained, the knuckle draggers come out with smart a55 quips that belittle those who are sharing the knowledge.
Horsepower is the number that determines what an engine or truck can do, and typically the torque number will indicate how effortless it can do it. Keep it simple, because it really is.
