I'm getting ready for the snowbird trip in my new Super Duty. As you prob know, the fuel tank holds a measly 26 gallons. At about 12 miles per, that's not far on the fabled "top half of the tank." I'll likely throw in a nasty 5 gal can extra, but have others added an extra fuel tank etc.? The possible Alaska voyage has me concerned.
I have the same problem as you with the 26 gal tank. If you have a Crew Cab you have lots of choice for replacement tanks but it you have a SuperCab with standard bed I have not found a replace larger tank. I have a B&W hitch and there isn't a enough room between the fwd leg of the hitch and the wall to mount most if not all aux tanks. The only solution I have found is a tank that fits down the side of your bed and is only 15 gallons at about 1200 bucks installed.
Knowing that we have a SuperCAb does anyone have a good solution that will help me and the OP
