Ford 26 gallon tank
I'm getting ready for the snowbird trip in my new Super Duty. As you prob know, the fuel tank holds a measly 26 gallons. At about 12 miles per, that's not far on the fabled "top half of the tank." ...

Because it fits in my garage and crew cab doesn't.
I hear you on the garage but the 26 gallon tank is a deal breaker for towing. The truck maybe in pristine garage kept condition but if it can only has a 200 mile range on a tank it is still makes it a poor tow vehicle.
Not that bad since we only do about 350 miles per day and not in hurry to get anywhere. Travel 200 miles in the morning - stop for lunch for hour or so and refuel - travel 150 miles in the afternoon and find a place to spend the night. I don't know how old you are but I found as I age my bladder is about 200 miles range on it also.
