The V10 is the same as the 5.4, except it has 2 more cylinders. So the reliability will be just as good. And the 5.4 is certainly reliable. But the V10 does things that the 5.4 cannot do. Without sacrificing anything other than a little gas. Way more towing power. For a little less gas milage. And at $600 more to buy, when new.
Get the V10. And best to get the 30 Valve version. And go for 4.10 RAR or better.
