Correct, the 20" is about 6 to 7 percent larger and the gear ratios have about the same difference. Unless you go to the heavy front suspension (snow plow prep), with the 3.55 gears and 18" tires, the engine will be turning the same RPM.
I have the 3.55 and 18" giving me a bit more power, braking effect and less down shifting.
So what size are the 18's and 20's? I wanted the RAM 18" for the look of the 18" wheels and lower cost of tires down the road. Both at rated at 3640 pounds. Chris
