OP, I'll bet by letting up on the gas pedal it works again. I'll also bet it's going to get worse and you will have to let up and push back down several times to get it to go. When the cam sensor goes it runs rough, not going dead and then running fine. Ford wants $800 for the accelerator pedal but it's actually the same as this for $80. I now carry a spare one and do not buy this one as I went through two of them in less than a year.

OP, before buying make sure it has a single large electrical plug not two as 2000 is where it changed from two plugs to one. You owe me a beer.:B
