With all the suggestions here I'm going to go with the cam sensor. I just priced one at $25 from Autozone.

Be careful with the after market CPS. I replaced mine with one from O'Reillys this summer. Started doing the same thing as yours but only when it was raining? Anyway after researching found after market CPS didn't have a very good reputation. Changed out to a factory Motorcraft CPS and no problems since. Good luck, John
P.S. Good advise to put an extra in the glove box.
