It was my first NEW truck I ever bought. It was waaaaayyyy back in early 1980 and I bought the 1 ton solid axle truck with snow plow package from Dodge. It locked up after few miles from dealer and long story short I told the bank that financed truck that I cant make payments if they cant deliver parts and fix. After a month they decided to remove rear from another truck on lot and swap. Any way I had few more Dodge trucks and some Jeeps but I had best luck with the 7.3 Powerstrokes. I bought all 4 Powerstrokes used and never lost money. I bought them cheap and a litle tlc goes a long way. I just paid four thousand dollars for this f350 from a customer of mine. It had noisy torque converter so I replaced the converter and went through the rest of thee tlc.
