I know there is some issues with 6.0, but is it really that bad? Is there something I can do to check or to correct the problem? I was hoping to stay away from heavy duty truck as I really don't need it, but I saw 2007 F250 with 99K miles with asking price of $18K.
Some were good and some were bad. I had a 2004 F350 and kept it for nine years and had well over 100K on the clock when I traded for my 2011 Dodge 3500. I bought the Ford new and NEVER had any of the common ailments that are reported all over the Internet. I maintained it meticulously and it run bone stock. No chips, etc. If I knew that a 6.0L was maintained the way mine was from the start I would consider another one.
