Ford dropping cars...good for market and those who tow ?

I think if you couple this sedanless move by Ford with self driving cars, many using Uber or equivalent almost exclusively, the entire near and far term automobile market is unpredictable. If they really do lose money on every small car they make, you can’t make it up on volume. Cars from Kia and other manufacturers provide cars with higher quality, more features, better warranties. Ford has to go where the profit is.
