It's obvious you're a bit behind and that's Ok, but you would be shocked at the number of todays stock factory cars that would beat that '68 Nova. As a matter of fact there's no '60's car to could beat todays best.
As for Ford's decision on the car topic the last time I purchased a car was a 1987 IROC Camaro with a TBI 350 which couldn't hold a candle to todays Camaro and Mustang.
All you would have to do is take a ride in my sons 2014 Camaro, its faster then I thought possible, have ridden in a lot of old muscle cars, I thought were fast.
