My '13 King Ranch 6.5' bed gets 8-9mpg towing my Surveyor SV264 travel trailer. Trailer is about 30' long and 7500lbs fully loaded. Pulling my 24' carhauler which weighs 4000 lbs I can get 13mpg. I always tow at 60mph. The wind resistance of any trailer kills fuel economy.
Unloaded at 60mph I typically get 18mpg. Around town 14mpg.
I have an aftermarket intercooler from Wagner and tunes from 5 star and Southern Speed. I am still experimenting to see which tune if any give the best fuel economy.
