Care to cite your statistics to back up that claim? The numbers don't support it.

Here's mine (for 2012):

Ford F-series: 645,316
Chevy Silverado: 418,312
GMC Sierra: 157,185

Admittedly it's been a while since I took an arithmetic class, but last time I checked, 645,316 was still more than 575,497. By a lot.

The margin was only about 20,000 trucks in 2011, but still in Ford's favor. First quarter this year, and the margin is already more than 15,000, again in Ford's favor.

Years ago I took a shuttle ride from O'Hare international to downtown in a Dodge 15 passenger van. I asked the driver how he like the Dodge and expected him to say that it did not handle well with the short wheelbase. He told me that he preferred the Dodge over the Ford or Chevy. He especially disliked the room that the Chevy needed to turn around. I have never driven the Chevy but I have no complaints about the way my Ford handles and I believe that the shorter wheelbase is a plus in many situations.

Fact: you are 100% correct! Fact GM was the only one of the big three to move the rear axles back were they belong! Dodge and Ford both just had two wheelbases and just welded a longer rear section on there vans. I drove a extra long WB Dodge and would never drive it again. Drove a extra long GM van and it handled like a dream, way to go GM.

Fact: We have 3 cargo vans available at work, 2 chevy 3500 and 1 dodge 3500. NOBODY wants to drive the dodge. It drives like a wet noodle compared to the others. The dodge only gets driven when the other two are already in use and some people will wait until one of the chevy's return.
It's been this way for over two years now.

On topic, we have 3 ecoboost powered fords in our fleet of police vehicles, none have had this issue, but it is rarely humid here, and they get floored often.

All factual, look up sales numbers. The rest, well, it's true. Facts are not brand bashing.

And the issue with EB only happens on the F150, not the Police Interceptor, Flex, Taurus, and Explorer.
