Ford F150 3.7 L V6
I may be looking at one of these trucks. In a super crew 2 wheel drive configuration. It has 3.73 rear axle ratio. And a tow rating around 6000 pounds. This little motor has more power than my 97 F150...

The F150 3.7 Crew I am looking at is a 2012 model XLT, has 65k miles on it and it's just under 20k. The only thing kind of holding me back some is the fact that I can get a brand new 2014 Pentastar equipped Ram Quad Cab in the tradesmen line for abou 25-26k. New 4.3 Silverados are available as low as 27k around her with the small crew cab (the new extended cab?) the Silverados are nicely equipped, the Rams have power windows and locks and a nice radio but vinyl buckets.
I haven't priced new 3.7 F150's so that's kind of up in the air.
The 2012 is nice but the miles are kind of high. However, the truck is exactly like I would have ordered it new.
Time will tell, I haven't drove any of them and I intend to go drive All three versions this weekend.
The ram wins in towing. With 3.55 axles is rated to pull just over 7000 lbs! That's pretty impressive.
I know that the build a truck options on the websites show there is only $1000 or so difference between the V8 and the V6.... It's hard to find that small of a difference on a lot.
