I may be looking at one of these trucks. In a super crew 2 wheel drive configuration. It has 3.73 rear axle ratio. And a tow rating around 6000 pounds. This little motor has more power than my 97 F150...

Just a small update for everyone. Today I test drove a USED 2014 Silverado extended cab with the 4.3 V6 and the 3.23 rear axle.... Man what a truck! That truck has all the options that I want with the exception of a back up camera. As far as power, it felt much quicker, especially off the line from my old 97 5.4 with 3.55... On the open road the 6 speed was very nice compared to my old 4 speeds.
Overall, I am impressed. This truck has 6,000 miles on it and I can get it for around $22-23k. With my trade and some cash I would be financing well under 20k.
