Ford F150 3.7 L V6
I may be looking at one of these trucks. In a super crew 2 wheel drive configuration. It has 3.73 rear axle ratio. And a tow rating around 6000 pounds. This little motor has more power than my 97 F150...

I am on my second f150 v6. I had a 2011, and now a 2013. Vehicle #11 & 12 for me. Best vehicles I've ever owned.
The 3.7 was available in the 2011's same as now. It is a fantastic engine mated with the 6 speed. Better performance in every way over the old 5.4 / 4 speed. We tow a very tall 3800# hybrid with an ATV in the box and 40 gallons of water. So far we've crossed the Rockies 4 times, right up to over 10K ASL. Performance was excellent. And I'm an impatient driver.
The only thing I would say is, you have to be comfortable with high rpm engines, because when you put the hammer down, it screams.
It also has excellent bottom end torque, nearly flat from just over 2k rpm up to 5000rpm. Ours tows in 5th gear @2200 rpm at around 65mph most of the time. A stiff headwind and I'm in 4th at 2800rpm.
