A picture for those nostalgic for the anemic engines of the past. The 3.7 has gobs of low end torque for a 3.7. Independent testing puts it ahead of a comparably equipped GM 5.3.
That picture is pretty old. Dodge hasn't been dodge since 2009, and they haven't used that engine in a Ram 1500 for a few years. It was pretty weak.
I'd love to read/see the independent test you're referring to.
The discussion was about a 2011 F150 3.7 - Calm down and ignore the rest, okay?
:) I was merely adding some factual information (complete with links to videos to show that it's factual) where the F150 equipped 3.7L V6 was outperformed by it's competition. Highly relevant information should a person be shopping for a truck in that category.
You come across as a pretty hostile person -- and insults and weak attempts to belittle people with opposing points of view are what people resort to when they run out of intelligent ways to calmly support their position. No need for that - it's just a truck after all.
Still waiting for the "independent tests" you referred to where the 3.7L V6 out performs a GM 5.3L V8.
Good day. :)
