If I had ever thought that I would only get 8-9 mpg, I wouldn't have gotten rid of the Chevy. Our driving is between 5,000 and 9,000 feet in elevation, if that makes a difference. The camper is on the truck full time and I average 40mph, driving between 25 an 63mph. I don't mean to contradict anyone, but the truck's computer calculates the mpg and my wife also has figured it out from fill-up to fill-up.
