The Ram still won but it was more apples to apples. Why didn't they add 2 good size guys to the Ford to equalize weight some? Would it have made a difference? I guess we'll never know, but it sure makes their test meaningless in my book.
So if they both pull a trailer of the same weight and the Ford is 400 lbs lighter who do you think is going to get to the top of the mountain faster? Or merge at a faster speed?
So you want to penalize the Ford by adding weight because they did a better job in the power to weight ratio area? What the.............????
It is what it is. Bottom line is, the Ford preformed better. And by quite a margin for an 1/8 of a mile or so.
