That price sounds pretty high, I paid $52 for mine brand new off the lot (Lariat without FX4) and I don't think I really got that great of a deal. Maybe you need to come to Alberta and buy one in truck country.
I would agree. Price is too high. You should be able to get a new one for low 50's here in Canada. New you will get full warranty plus 2 or three years of improvements.
I paid $52,000 new but not quite as loaded. I would pass.
As others have said any mods will void warranty. Diesels can be big $$$$$ to repair. The newer ones also have more power and an improved turbo. In my opinion for the price not worth it.
