We purchased our 2006 6.0 July 2012 and have put a new fan clutch, egr cooler, oil cooler, new ELC coolant, added a company filter, new front brake calipers, flushed brake lines, new CAC tube and added a Scan Gauge II to monitor the engine. I am now getting a PO402 code. I love the truck, it pulls like a beast and hauls our fiver like its not there. We have spent close to $4000 repairing the truck but once all issues are corrected he will be a keeper for us. Too much invested to walk away. Have a good mechanic look it over and put gauges on it. Make your own informed decision. Best of luck and take all of the 6.0 haters with a grain of salt, most of them never owned one of these trucks so they are repeating what they read and hear.
