Ford, GM, FCA Agree to Shut Down US Plants

I agree that hopefully it's just an exercise, but they will probably work with the leading manufactures of these products and simulate their designs and tooling in which I don't think will take too long.

History has show that in time of war American manufacturers quickly switched their production to military equipment. During WWI a many war items were made in Dayton, Oh in National Cash Registers plant.

In all seriousness I wish for everyone to do their part, stay healthy, and work together to get through this.

I was told that Honda in Marysville,OH is shutting down.

Read a story the other day in Detroit Free Press when shutdowns were announced. They quoted a Ford official stating Ford had a 30 day inventory on hand across their dealer network. In flush times that might be a problem but probably OK for now? Story also reported Ford is tapping two credit facilities to cover their nut.
