Not really. Some like me, don't care what 'surveys' or 'polls' determine. Frankly many like me don't bother answering surveys or responding to polls, as I find many of these seem to ask carefully constructed questions to get predictable answers.

When you look at say political polls that maintain they're accurate within 1 to 3 %....19 out of 20 times....or whatever the figure is , I question that...given how many times they're dead wrong with predicting which candidate will win.

We eventually selected a Chevy Impala with the 305 hp V6...as it was most comfortable for me...given my bum knee...old hockey injury.

It's the first new vehicle we've had, where everything was right...nothing wrong (touch wood :B).

The fact is, in 2015, all of the Big Three make great trucks. Bash the other brands all you want, but it's true.

I have driven all three as a TV, and I will consider all three when we are ready to buy our next TV. 10 years ago, we would not have bought a RAM, but now, we happily own one and it has been a great truck and TV in the first year. Our previous TV, a Chevy, was also a great truck.

So 71K makes your truck a reliable one but when I said I had zero problems with my RAM with 65K and 3.5 years you slam me saying that is not long enough to mean anything.

I guess you probably were right since the RAM's are known for very long life 65K is not very long.

So you know what that means to have a Ford Diesel make it 71K. That is really amazing.

I suppose I don't know... My BIL 09 6.7 cummins was the biggest POS there was. And that was after owning a Ford 6.0PSD for 5 years that was a pretty good truck but not perfect.

In addition our 05 5.9 cummins truck was less than reliable too. That truck was off loaded after ~1 year for a 7.3 PSD Super Duty. It's been a much better truck.

My '04.5 Dodge has been as reliable as they come. Service it, put tires on it and go. No shop time. Have owned it for over 11 1/2 years and have put over 180K on it to date. Bought it new(ordered) it the way I wanted it. Not afraid to go across country at any time with the RV. I buy what works for me. I have driven a Ford for over 100K also(not mine), also a Chevy for 132K(not mine). Sorry your experience was different.

Just wait he will tell you about all the head gasket failures the 6.7 Cummins have had. He will even give a link. But if you take the time to read the link you will see every one of them have a tuner and deletes.

I let my best friend use my 98 12V with 325K on the clock to haul an enclosed trailer to Utah in December last year and back to NW WA. No problems, I was 100% confident he would have no problems. I would do the same today with 343K.

What I will tell you dodge didn't make the list and for a reason.

Which is very typical and there's nothing to debate here... Good for them.

On the other hand the Dodge boys bash the other brands and retaliate. Typical dodge boys. I suppose this comes from years of frustration. :W
