I have a F350 with the tow prep package in an 8 ft bed. I'd like to get a hitch from Ford. On their accessories web page they offer 2 hitches. The one rated for 27.5k GTWR is $200 cheaper than the hit...

Handle closed and pinned/locked and it looks like this you are good to go.
For ME its a "VISUAL" test, no pull test needed.
