Ouch! Just from memory, believe Ford had said that the stroke was longer on the improved 2015 CP 4.2 pump.
I was hoping that this meant they had finally put a connecting rod pin into the thing so the pump piston could NOT separate from the rod and pound the piston into oblivion.
The cp4 pump still uses a spring to push back the intensifier piston just like a cp3 pump does
