We just looked at a 2011 F-150 Lariat V6 4x4 with EcoBoost. It rides very comfortably and doesn't have that massive trucky feel we noticed on some others we drove last fall. 6' bed, nice amenities...
...but...
the payload is 1370#. That's only 140# more than the Sequoia. I'm sure it's because of the automatic heated memory seats and all the other stuff on it, all of which are very seductive but not necessary. Per the salesman, they don't often get used EcoBoost vehicles on the lot - that was the only one. A shorter bed would save us about 150#, per the sales guy. But finding one with EcoBoost is not easy.
