I have a 2011 F150 Max Tow. Mine has the 6.2 V8 which is actually the premium option for the F150. Most people forget about it and think the eco-boost is the highest torque/hp engine in the F150. I believe the 6.2 is available from 2011 to 2014. I was told only about 2% of F150's have the 6.2 so they can be difficult to find. It took me a while to find mine but they are out there.
My door tag shows 1656lbs. Besides the mile home I haven't had a chance to tow my TT with it. I'm looking forward to next summer.
