I'm looking at '08 or newer 1 ton diesel SRW. I have always been a Ford guy and really like the Lariat pkg, but the Cummins motor has my attention also.

Never been a GM guy. I'm not a hater, just never had any luck with 'em. Neither have my friends
And
I know the Cummins is probably the best diesel engine out there, but just the few negatives about the Dodge package around the motor tells me they haven't changed much.
I've been a Ford enthusiast for 30+ years and looks like it's gunna stay that way !!
We can tell your a die hard Ford fan if you believe all that.
Their all good trucks and having owned and operated Ford/Dodge/GM one ton trucks in my hauling business one isn't better than the other.
Just be aware Fords F350 SRW trucks comes with several GVWR packages from 10000 up to 11200 and three different RAWR packages up to 7xxx lbs.
