Yeah, they will get some money. I got a check a couple weeks ago for a class action lawsuit that I got grouped into. Check for $2.20! Did not bother to cash it. Never could find out how much the lawyers got.
I friend of mine had defective siding on his house and was part of a class action. His check was $2.05

  • I don't expect to see any of that money but I averaged more than$1000 for each of four rv trips I took with my 6-0 power stroke. This after more than 60000 towing miles with the same trailer and the bullet proof 5-4 f-150
I hope someone gets the money.
  • HAHAHA I was going to post the same thing Chris, plus add the fact that the owners or former owners? have only until the end of December of this year to file their claim. "Those eligible have until Dec. 31, 2013, to download and submit claims to the settlement administrator." sounds more like an out for Ford to limit their losses to me.

  • Actually, the documents say that "partial reimbursement" will be made to customers for certain repair-related expenses, but I didn't see any reference to what percentage of costs would be reimbursed. It looked as if Navistar is giving Ford a specific amount of money that probably will be divided among customers trying to get reimbursement (minus lawyer's fees of course!)
  • $10k to those 16 ain't to shabby. I did notice Ford reported pretty good earnings this past week.
  • You may get a voucher for x number of dollars to go on the purchase of a new rig.
