Ford transmission trouble ?

Did not want to highjack the other thread. On my 07 Ford F-350 when I went to back up the transmission slips/shudders. Are there bands that can be adjusted on the torque shift transmission? The truck is a 6.0 Diesel with 260K miles on it. Not a single problem going forward.

    No bands to adjust. It's time for diagnosis and probably a rebuild. Sorry!;

    That can be just a beginning symptom.
    My 05 started like that. . .almost not detectable at first.
    But it got worse and worse.
    Took it to a transmission shop - by then it had become very bad and actually failed in the tranny shop's parking lot.
    Take care of it asap.

    If I were you Id get the truck to Brians Truck Shop - Lead Hill, Ar or at least give them a call. According to googlemaps.com you are 376 miles away. I hear that he can make your transmission problems go away for a long time.
