Ford vehicles---peeling paint?

The only late model pickups I see that have been built in the last 15 years with any real paint issues have been the 2007-2013 GM trucks, mostly paint peeling on the rockers and lower bedsides. I say this because a buddy of mine works in the paint shop at one of the local GM dealers and he’s done quite a bit of touch up under warranty which GM has been good about covering.
Two of my employees have had to get their GM trucks painted in those ares and they are both from that era, about 2 years old when it happened.
Issues can happen, as long as the manufacturer stands behind it and makes it right I’m fine with it.
