Ford vehicles---peeling paint?
Have any of you seen this problem? I know there are a lot of Ford tow vehicles out there. I've been reading around the innerwebs while researching tow vehicles. One big issue that I keep reading...

When I had my 2015 Silverado, there were lots of posts on gm trucks.com about paint blowing off the lower rockers and other random areas. No explanation given, but the general consensus over there was the paint on the 2014 and up gm trucks was garbage and very thin. My experience was similar. I had a stone hit the aluminum hood of my 15 and it took off a lot of paint.
I was not impressed with that truck in a lot of ways, much happier with my ram. I'm not aware of any recent Ford's with peeling paint. I remember a spell in the late 80s, early 90s when the oems had to switch to water based primer (I think) and that caused lots of paint issues, but it's been awhile.
I have a 2008 Ford focus and a 2005 ford escape, neither have any. Peeling paint, in fact both look really good yet.
