My wife's 2013 Explorer (purchased new) had developed bubbles in the paint on the aluminum hood within the 1st year and the dealership did nothing about it. We never got the hood fixed and you can't really see them unless you look closely but at least they haven't chipped off.
I bought a new 1989 S-10 when I came back from Germany and the paint peeled on it badly within 3 years. GM recalled the truck for a problem with the primer and I had it repainted free, only to total the truck a month later. :M
How's this...2011-16 models...fairly current.
