Fords 6.7 Scorpion Diesel motor
Anyone have any long term experience with this motor,such as towing ,likes ,dislikes. I like the looks of the Super Duty,but did'nt like the 6.0 motor. Just wondering about the new one. Thank you

Case in point...you have an hidden agenda along with a lot of others who have posted in the thread. Ricatic however has a well known issue with Ford along with an agenda about it but he has been honest of why his agenda.

People like you try to insinuate that people don't like this engine because they don't like Ford. I have never seen that and here's why.
How many times have you seen a thread saying that the Ford V10 is a junk engine?
How many times have you seen a thread saying that the 7.3 was a bad engine?
How many times do you see people saying Ford has junk interiors?
How many times do you see people saying the Ford 5.0 is a junk engine?
The answer is NEVER. Why? Because anybody that knows anything about the above knows that they were VERY good.
The 6.7 is far behind the other two in terms of reliability much like the 6.5 GM engine was far behind the reliability of the Ford 7.3 engine. All one has to do is go to some of the popular forums of various makes and look for common problems.
Much like Lippert frames, the 6.7 deserves the notoriety it has. Much like Sunline travel trailers, the 7.3 deserves the notoriety it has.
