Fords 6.7 Scorpion Diesel motor
Anyone have any long term experience with this motor,such as towing ,likes ,dislikes. I like the looks of the Super Duty,but did'nt like the 6.0 motor. Just wondering about the new one. Thank you

There is no way you put DEF into the diesel tank and left it in there and didn`t have any issues!
I'm still impressed that he's towing a 30,000# trailer with his SRW 350 truck....don't know how much his truck weighs, but I'll figure 8,000# ?(ballpark), that puts GCW at 38,000# (just a guess)..GCWR on my dually with 4:10 is only 37,500#, if I hooked up to a 30,000# trailer I'd be at 39,400# or so, almost a ton over my trucks GCWR....No way would I tow a 30,000# trailer from Asheville NC to Pence Springs WVa and feel safe doing it, especially on some of the secondary roads I have to run the last 45 miles of the trip. Heck, I should have bought a new 1/2 ton and put airbags on it..I'd been good to go:)
