Ford's new 7.3 Super Duty Gas Engine for 2020

I have been reading and watching videos about Fords new 7.3 gasser. I feel that it will be a very capable and dependable engine for the Super Duty line. I am still running a 2004 6.0 and it has been on of the good ones. It will be interesting to see what ratings Ford puts on this new Gasser. I was wondering what people on this sight thought of this new engine.

    Ford has a lot riding on the new 7.3L gas and 10 speed automatic so it had better be good ! It will be the "center piece" of their Medium Duty Truck line (F600, F650 and F750).

    Smart municipalities will switch to these gasser as they really do NOT put enough miles on their trucks to warrant the extra power and expense of a diesel !

    I’m looking forward to it as well. Since I intend to outlive my current truck, it could very well be the engine in its replacement. That should give them plenty of time to get the kinks worked out.

    I’m thrilled to death with our 2001 7.3 power stroke diesel F350! 168k miles and going strong.

    Every day I avoid a replacement (at $80k +) is a blessing imo!!????

    I am gonna honk down the road with my ole 6.2 and let someone else try out the new engine for the first year.
