52F on the upper Texas Gulf Coast. Drove to the farm before daylight and pittled around checking on the new ditches. Looked for deer and hog tracks. Got home about 10am and trimmed the pear trees before they bloom. Noticed the red maple in the front yard is near blooming. Took the plywood and bed mat out of the truck in preparation for the 5th hitch. Cut down 2 dead redbud trees in the front yard and threw them in the woods. Looked at the raised bed garden and noticed I had enough construction blocks to extend the bed about 3 feet.
Waiting on wifey to get back from grocery store to help her unload. Then take a hot bath with a Wild Turkey.
In the 70's next week. Might go fishing.
