Welcome! RVs aren't perfect; I would say our experience has been that we have had more service issues with our campers (we're now on our 5th) than with our vehicles, but that's the nature of the beast. You will undoubtedly find a few issues with the camper you're looking at, but that would be true of any of them. Hopefully they will be minor ones; most are, usually just fit & finish kinds of stuff. You'll get some good info here on this forum about care & maintenance, and if you follow those, that will help.
Remember, if you look for problems (such as going to websites dedicated to people who are angry about their consumer experiences) you will definitely find them! :) Even in just regular forums, I'd say that complaints outnumber praise, just because that's human nature. If things go as we expect, we don't say anything, but let something go wrong - whammo! Gotta spread the word.
Rockwoods have been around a while, and I would guess have been about average in the number of problems, as RVs go. We are on our second FR product, the first one having been a twin to Rockwoods. We had problems, some major, most very minor, but here we are with the same brand yet again. We'll see how it goes.
