Forget about Chevy 1500 & 2500 series for truck campers now

I think that we need to look at the language of the glove compartment sticker. It is about camper loading, not total payload. I think that not only is the weight of the camper taken into consideration but also the wind resistance is figured into the formula. I bought a GMC 2500 many years ago based on the payload but once I picked it up there was the paper in the glove compartment that said camper loading was hundreds of pounds less. I gave them the truck back.
