well after finding out what my truck can do, which is 10k towing and 1645 payload. also that TT i mentioned in my last post it was a scam i didn't pay for it though just did my homework about it. l...

Reading this I thought I would chime in. 2015 1500 Silverado. 5.3 3:42 gears and tow package. Towed a 27' 6800 lb rv 12,500 miles around the US in a 3 month trip. Went thru Rockies and all other passes in the route. Avg 12.5 mpg and although lighter than others listed I never once felt it was ever a problem. Some very windy days. Great tow and a wonderful trip. Your results may differ as they say ????
