Reading this I thought I would chime in. 2015 1500 Silverado. 5.3 3:42 gears and tow package. Towed a 27' 6800 lb rv 12,500 miles around the US in a 3 month trip. Went thru Rockies and all other passes in the route. Avg 12.5 mpg and although lighter than others listed I never once felt it was ever a problem. Some very windy days. Great tow and a wonderful trip. Your results may differ as they say ????
Nice, i imagine that the one i am looking at will be a little more troublesome i dont plan on towing across country, mainly around texas, i dont have the max tow package just have the built in trailer brake, with trailer sway control and a frame mounted hitch.
Could go something smaller/lighter but eventually this may become my home so want to have a little bit of space and be able to have decent sleeping options,
specs of trailer http://www.rvguide.com/specs/palomino/travel-trailer/2013/solaire-ultra-lite/317-bhsk-eclipse.html even the seller (dealership) listed same weight. I am hoping the 625lbs is for the trailer listed with the options.
Not sure when i will look at this trailer, though
