TP, sorry sir, i have to agree with the majority. Simply put, your in 3/4 ton truck territory. A 35' tt is a lot of trailer, regardless of weight.
I had a 15 Silverado 5.3/3.42 combo that pulled the trailer in my sig just great, even in the mountains, but I'm 23' long and 6k gvwr, probably in the 5k range loaded. I'd not want much more than 1k more loaded weight with that truck since i have a family of 4 and carry a lot in my truck.
The Chevys performance loaded heavy for a week camping trip is one reason why i upgraded to the truck in my sig.
Please listen to the folks here who are only trying to help you avoid a big mistake. If you don't want to trade you new truck, i get that. But then you need a smaller trailer choice. Good luck.
