What??? About every auto part store in the nation will take used oil/filters. Heck they even dump it for you. Just bring it in. How hard is that?
In your haste to react to my post did you read somewhere in it that I said it was hard? I only suggested it's becoming a bit of a nuisance to find a parts store that is willing to take the oil and filter. One close enough to home to justify the trip. I did my first oil change sometime in the mid sixties, and have done it hundreds of times. Still change it in my airplane, so if I suggest I don't wish to do it in my garage or driveway, that only means I prefer to have someone else do it.
