You don't necessarily have to go back to the dealer you purchased from for service. Curtis Trailers sells Lance products, and they have two locations in the Portland area; one on the east side of Portland and one on the west side of Beaverton.
I bought my trailer from them and have had it serviced at their Beaverton location a few times. A friend of mine also just ordered up a Lance 1575 trailer from them about two weeks ago. I've been happy with their customer service and quality of work.
Since you didn't buy the camper from Curtis, I'd give Lance a call first, explain your situation, and say that you'd like to have it serviced closer to home. My guess is they'd be willing to contact Curtis and motivate them to get you in pretty quickly.
Good luck and let us know what the problem ends up being!
