That tells me this delamination was caused by water intrusion, not simply the adhesive letting go and IMO the severity of the delamination shown in his pic supports that view.
While I am not doubting that water MAY have intruded the front cap, since the entire front cap skin is no longer attached to its base. Water intrusion usually affects a much smaller portion, no more than a two to four foot width that flows from the roof to the bottom- no surprise just as water would flow down from the roof!
